The National Business Awards 2006 Seek UK's Top Businesses
The National Business Awards, sponsored by Orange, has opened for entry in this year's search to find the country's top performing businesses.

Uniquely, the categories in The National Business Awards are open to businesses of any size and from all sectors. The rigorous and robust judging process - which in 2005 took 18 weeks and involved more than 120 judges - allows businesses the opportunity to benchmark their own success.

The annual celebration of excellence and innovation culminates in a glittering gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Tuesday 7th November 2006.

Award winners in 2005 included Experien International, Admiral Group and Hilton International. Lord Kalms of Edgware, President of Dixons received The Lifetime Achievement Award.

"In 2005 the combined annual turnover of the entries equated to 31.6% of GDP. On that basis, it is clear that the majority of the British business community keenly welcome the opportunity to celebrate their success and innovation," said National Business Awards Chief Executive Adrian Tripp, "The winners of the National Business Awards exemplify the high achievements of British business and serve as exceptional role models across commerce and industry, now a fixture of the UK business calendar."
